Harvard University’s website hacked by Syrian hackers
Harvard University’s website has been hacked by Syrian hackers who defaced the homepage and stuck a message that said “Syrian Electronic Army was here“. Also a poster of Syria’s president was stuck on the hompage of Harvard’s website along with the message that threatened the US against terrorism.
As stated by Harvard officials, the website was taken down for several hours to restore the functionality. They also believed that this attack was executed by some sophisticated individual or a group.
Harvard website was hacked on Monday morning, ‘by the Syria’s president’ as the hacker wanted to display. There also was another message cursing United States for their involvement in the riots against Syrian President.
